What I’m Loving, Edition July 2016

How is it already the end of July?!?

Summer is over – my kids go back to school on August 4, which seems absolutely ridiculous. And I’m not sure if I’m happy or sad about it.

But here are some things that I am happy about:

  1. Rhinestone Jesus: So far, this is one of my favorite books of 2016. (It was actually published a few years ago. I’m just a little behind.) In the book, author Kristen Welch shares her story of how God led her and her family on a journey to help young pregnant women in Africa. It is an amazing and inspirational story of saying “yes” to God.
  2. Tomato Pie: Oh my yummy goodness. I could eat this entire thing in one sitting. It is my very favorite thing to cook and eat in the summer.
  3. This news story: I don’t know about you, but I think these parents are geniuses! I would love to hear your opinions!

Ok, that’s all for this month. Enjoy your last few days of summer!
