What I’m Loving, Edition November 2016

Hi, friends. I hope everyone experienced a relaxing Thanksgiving. Peter had a second surgery on his foot on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving because it had not healed properly from the first surgery back in July. He is doing great, though, and is able to walk around just fine now. But needless to say, our Thanksgiving was strangely quiet this year.

Here are a few of my favorite things this month:

  1. This Is Us: Is anybody else watching this show? Holy moly. It is my favorite favorite. This drama is emotionally captivating yet delightfully surprising. At the end of every episode, I am taken aback by some new revelation. I certainly hope the writers can continue on this creative trend. And if you aren’t watching it, you should be!
  2. La Croix Sparkling Water: Yes, I have jumped on the La Croix bandwagon. (Did you know there was a La Croix bandwagon?) I have been unable to drink sodas for about 9 years because they caused major migraines, so I mostly drink water and tea. But sometimes I just want something bubbly and fizzy, you know? And then I discovered La Croix. My favorite flavor is Cran-raspberry – so yummy! (Just so you know, these drinks are not sweet, so if you’re used to drinking cokes or other cola products, this will be a bit different.)
  3. This article made me feel a lot better about my “mommy brain.” What are some of the craziest things you’ve done that you can attribute to Mom Brain?

It’s already December and I can’t believe it! Our family will be heading to Disney World the week before Christmas and then we will be traveling to visit family. What are your Christmas plans this year?
