What I’m Loving, Edition March 2018

It’s the end of March and the beginning of Spring. I love seeing all the trees and flowers blooming outside my window after a long winter. It’s one of my favorite seasons.

And here are a few of my favorite things this month!

  1. Daring to Hope: Y’all. This book. I couldn’t put it down. You may know the author, Katie Davis, from her first book, Kisses from Katie. In that first book, she wrote about lots of big things that happened in her life. Positive things. Inspirational things. While Daring to Hope was different, it was no less inspiring. Katie wrote a lot about pain and disappointment, sorrow and grief. And how she questioned the Lord yet continued to trust Him. She inspired me to keep seeking the Lord and to start journaling my prayers and thoughts again. I think you will love this book as much as I did!
  2. My weekend away with Beth Moore: Sometimes it’s good to take some time away for ourselves, and that’s exactly what I did a few weeks ago. You can read all about it here, but suffice it to say, I enjoyed my restful weekend away in Ft. Lauderdale, learning from Beth and celebrating with new friends.
  3. Dukale’s Dream: If you love Hugh Jackman and you love coffee, you will love this. I promise. Follow Hugh as he travels to Ethiopia with World Vision, documenting his time spent with a native coffee farmer. This documentary is currently streaming for free on Amazon Prime, and you don’t want to miss it! And don’t think for a second that I didn’t go out the very week I watched it and bought some of this coffee. Delish!

That’s it for March! Happy Spring!
