Five Year Vacation Plan

It’s no secret that podcasts are my jam. While some people listen to audiobooks, I always have a podcast going in my ears. I enjoy learning new things and hearing interesting real-life stories. Several months ago I listened to an episode of Best of Both Worlds where the hosts discussed having a five year vacation plan, and this totally got me motivated to think about some fun trips I’d like to take over the next few years.

Here are some of my ideas:

  • The beach (obviously – this is always on my vacation list)

  • Yellowstone and/or Yosemite (my kids loved our road trip to Niagara Falls last year and we’re ready for another one)

  • Grand Canyon (another road trip!)

  • Universal Studios (I think Jillienne will be old enough soon for this)

  • Washington DC (my kids love history so I think DC would be a great place to visit)

  • An all inclusive family resort (if you have suggestions for this, let me know!)

  • a 25th anniversary trip (UK or somewhere else in Europe or a tropical area – I’m really open to anything at this point and we’ve got 2 years to plan and save)

  • Israel (this one probably won’t happen within the next 5 years but it’s definitely on my bucket list)

Do you have a five-year vacation plan for your family? What are some travel goals you might set? I’d love to hear your thoughts and suggestions!
