What I’m Loving, Edition September 2020

Happy Fall, y’all! We made it through a month of school and, although it’s been a strange year so far, we are doing it! I hope you’re not only surviving but thriving this school year too.

My favorite things list went AWOL in August but it’s back this month. Here are several things I’m loving right now!

  1. Big Boo Cast with Phil Rosenthal: I love the Big Boo cast. Sophie and Melanie seem like people I could be best friends with. On this particular podcast, they interviewed Phil Rosenthal, and I’ll be honest – I didn’t even know who he was until they got started. For the record, he is the creative mind behind Everybody Loves Raymond and he seems so genuine and funny and likable. It was a great interview and one I think you’ll enjoy.
  2. Somebody Feed Phil: And as a follow-up to the podcast above, this Netflix show is so great. The host, Phil Rosenthal, travels the world sampling cuisine and meeting local people. It’s short so it won’t take up a ton of your time but it will leave you feeling relaxed and excited about the possibility of trying new foods, traveling again whenever we are allowed to do so, and meeting people who are not just like you. Peter and I are loving this series! And the next season releases soon!
  3. My laminator: I bought this laminator several years ago and I cannot even begin to tell you how many times I’ve used it. It heats up quickly and it’s simple to use, but my favorite feature is that the lamination is not flimsy like some laminators. This stuff will hold up forever! I was skeptical when I first bought it but now I’m a believer!
  4. These shoes: Ok, I posted several weeks ago on Facebook that I was in need of some comfy flats to wear at work. This brand came up over and over as the most comfortable shoe people had ever owned, so of course I ordered a pair. Y’all. I can’t even explain how cushiony and delightful this pair of shoes is. I will definitely be ordering some more from this company. In fact, I have my eye on these and these.

That’s it for September! Let me know what you’re loving this month!
